A 1970 model Silver Shadow mini-bike takes this week's sale of the week prize.  This highly collectible mini-bike is quite rare.  It was made at Speedway Products in Ohio during the height of the origional mini bike craze in 1970.  At that time many bikes were made from lawn mower parts found in the garage; the Speedway Products company capitalized on the craze.

The bike was sold in good running condition and ready to be restored.  The 125cc Sachs engine was one of the most powerful and fastest engines of the genre.

There were 5 bidders on this bike and the final price was $1,725.  The venue was eBay and the sale date was 8/27/2008.
